- Kim Bruce.
This is my motto, this is what I live by, this is what my clients see everyday. I am not just talking about being physically fit, I am talking about being mentally strong, and confident.
Knowing that whatever life throws at you to knock you off track you have the skills to get up & “start again”.
This deep rooted passion to help my clients see the untapped potential is what I fell in love with as a specialist in nutrition & fitness.
My passion started over 25 years ago as a fitness leader teaching all types of classes. My love for the industry moved me from corporate Canada to completing my schooling as a personal trainer. Over the past 12 years I have completed numerous courses including Precision Nutrition & Biomechanics specialist through corrective exercise.
I love to watch the transformation, I love to watch movement, I love to watch my clients succeed.

For most of my life, I thought the answer to feeling better in my body was to try harder.
I grew up in a world of dieting. Popcorn diets, cabbage soup diets, Atkins. The message was always the same: eat less, be smaller, and you’ll finally feel good enough.
By my early twenties, that mindset had taken a toll. I struggled with disordered eating and was later diagnosed with clinical depression. I felt like my body and mind were constantly working against me.
But everything began to change when I discovered something powerful: movement, nutrition, sleep, and stress management weren’t punishments.
They were tools.
Over the last 25+ years, I’ve dedicated my life to helping women understand their bodies, build strength, and create sustainable habits that actually last.
When I reached midlife and saw how many women were being dismissed or told to simply “diet harder,” I knew something had to change.
That’s why I created SoulSpark Fitness & Nutrition and the StrongHER method.
Today, I help women in perimenopause and menopause reclaim their strength, energy, and confidence through a realistic approach that supports hormones, builds muscle, and works in real life.
Because midlife isn’t the end of your strength. It’s the beginning of a powerful new chapter.

Over the years, I started noticing a pattern. Women in their 40s and 50s were coming to me frustrated and confused. They were eating well, staying active, and doing everything they had always been told to do.
But suddenly their bodies stopped responding.
They felt inflamed.
Their energy was unpredictable.
The scale moved in the wrong direction.
Sleep became harder.
Strength felt harder to maintain.
And many of them started blaming themselves.
The truth is, most fitness and nutrition programs were never designed for the hormonal shifts that happen during perimenopause and menopause. Your physiology changes. Muscle becomes more important. Recovery becomes essential. Nutrition needs shift.
Stress and sleep impact your body in completely different ways. What worked in your 20s and 30s often stops working in midlife.
That doesn’t mean your body is broken. It means your strategy needs to change.
Midlife is not the time to shrink. It is the time to rebuild.
Rebuild strength.
Rebuild energy.
Rebuild confidence.
Rebuild trust in your body.
My coaching combines science, experience, and real-life support to help women navigate this stage with clarity instead of confusion.
Because women deserve to understand what is happening in their bodies, and they deserve a strategy that actually works for this stage of life.
You deserve a strategy that actually works for you.
I work with women in their 40s, 50s, and beyond who are navigating perimenopause and menopause and want expert support rebuilding strength, energy, and confidence.
Many of my clients are women who:
Feel like their body stopped responding
Want to build strength and muscle in midlife
Are tired of restrictive diets
Want a physiology-based approach to menopause fitness
Want support and accountability during this transition
You’re a woman in your 40s or 50s who feels like your body changed the rules.
You might recognize yourself here:
You feel like your body responds differently to food and exercise now
You’ve noticed changes in energy, sleep, or recovery
You want to build strength and protect your health as you age
You’re tired of extreme diets or programs that ignore menopause
You want clear guidance from someone who understands midlife physiology
You value accountability and support, not shame or pressure
Most of the women I work with are capable, thoughtful, and used to being the ones who hold everything together. What they need isn’t more discipline.
They need a strategy that works with the body they have now.
